This year, Chinese new year, year of the tiger starts on February 14th. Of course that’s Valentines day. So wherever you are, STUBBORN SIDEBURN would like to give you some cheer for both occasion at the same time!

I just got a sample of ZUNE with my design engraved. Sweet!! Now I like Zune over iPod.

I just got a sample of Think Green Calendar from Germany design organization. It featured many different designer around the globe and I am happy to be in as one of them. The calendar is also nicely designed with full of environment message. Pretty neat.

Wishing you the very best for the new year from studio Stubborn Sideburn!

I just got these stickers in my studio. This is thumb size mini sticker. It is not for sale right now but I am thinking this for give away. I am planing to launch Stubborn Sideburn Brand Store, STBN-SDBN in 2010. These sticker will be accompanied by any of the product you will see there. Also, I like how it turned out so I am thinking about doing a series.

I am planning to make custom tag/key chain right now. Joe at engraveyourbook.com is helping me on this. He just sent me a picture of the prototypes. Looks great! Now I am going to finalize the design and get into production process and will be available soon for everyone. Stay tuned.
New poster is now in the shop! This second Stubborn Sideburn poster is called: Japanesque Musique. You can click on the image to enlarge.

They just gave me a copy of Print magazine Regional Design Annual 2009 issue. You can find a couple of my work if you open the page 58 & 59. This particular issue is a great source of inspiration by the way. Because it has really good range of variety of work across the nation.

New editorial illustration for Seattle Weekly. The article is about the big techno music event in Seattle focusing on visual and audio interaction. They used the term “media cube” to describe this event. That was my inspiration for this illustration. I try to play some optical illusion based off of cube. This issue came out yesterday.
